There’s something special about seeing success come from within your own community — and this year’s Sandringham Golf Club Club Championship delivered exactly that.
We’re proud to share that one of our very own staff members, Andy Moratis, has successfully defended his Club Championship title, backing up last year’s win with another standout performance. To go back-to-back in a championship environment is no small feat.

Andy achieved an exceptional result of 67, 71 & 69, for a total of 207. Finishing a comportable 6 shots in front of runner-up Sean Paterson.
The Sandringham Golf Club Championship is one of the most anticipated events on the local calendar, bringing together the club’s top players to compete over multiple rounds.
The team at Sandy Golf Links are incredibly proud to support our community at every stage of their golfing journey – from everyday practice, to competitions. Seeing a staff member of our own team perform at this level is a great reminder of the quality of golf, people and passion that define our facility.
